ရန်ကုန်မြို့လယ်ရှိ ဆူးလေရှန်ဂရီလာဟော်တယ်ကို ဖေဖော်ဝါရီလ ၁ ရက်မှ စလို့ ယာယီ ပိတ်ထားမှာ ဖြစ်ကြောင်း အသိပေးကြေညာပါတယ်။ 

၂၅နှစ်ကြာ သက်တမ်းရှိခဲ့ပြီဖြစ်တဲ့ ဆူးလေရှန်ဂရီလာဟော်တယ်ဟာ ဒီဇင်ဘာလမှာ ဝန်ထမ်းအင်အား လျှော့ချခြင်း အပါအဝင် ကုန်ကျစရိတ် သက်သာရာသက်သာကြောင်းတွေ လုပ်ဆောင်ခဲ့ပြီး ငွေကြေးအကျပ်အတည်း အနည်းဆုံးဖြစ်အောင် စီမံခဲ့တယ်။

၉လ ယာယီ ရပ်ဆိုင်းထားပြီး အခြေအနေ တိုးတက်ကောင်းမွန်ရင် ပြန်လည် ဖွင့်လှစ်မှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဟိုတယ်ဝန်ဆောင်မှု ရပ်နားလိုက်သော်လည်း ၎င်းနဲ့ တွဲလျက် တစ်ဆက်တည်း အဆောက်အဉီမှာ တည်ရှိတဲ့ Sule Square Mall, ရုံးခန်းတွေနဲ့ Shangri-la Residence တို့ကိုတော့ ဆက်လက် ဖွင့်လှစ်ထားမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

ဟိုတယ်ဝန်ဆောင်မှု ရပ်နားလိုက်တဲ့အတွက် Booking တင်ထားတာတွေ အားလုံးကို Cancellation ကျသင့်ငွေ မကောက်ခံဘဲ တစ်ဦးချင်းစီ ဆက်သွယ် အကြောင်းပြန်ကြားပေးသွားမှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်

ဝန်ထမ်းတွေကိုတော့ ပိတ်ထားစဥ်ကာလအတွင်း လစာငွေတစ်စိတ်တစ်ပိုင်းနဲ့ ကျန်းမာရေးစောင့်ရှောက်မှုခံစားခွင့် ပေးထားမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ဟိုတယ်အဆောက်အဦကို အခရာကျတဲ့သူ အနည်းငယ်ပါဝင်တဲ့ အဖွဲ့ဝင်ဖြင့် လုပ်ကိုင်သွားမှာ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, we have implemented multiple cost management Initiatives to mitigate the unprecedented financial impact, including the difficult decision to streamline our workforce last December.

Regretfully, due to the prolonged low business levels and after exploring all other viable options, we have decided to temporarily close Sule Shangri-La Hotel, Yangon from 1 February 2021.

Our commitment to the Myanmar growth story dates back many years and we remain committed to our presence here in the market. Sule Square Mall & Office and Shangri-La Residences will remain open to tenants, guests and visitors. And our intent is to reopen the hotel in nine months' time when hopefully business conditions would have improved.

Guests and clients with affected reservations at Sule Shangri-La Hotel will be contacted personally, and all cancellation charges will be waived.

Every effort is also being made to help our affected team members through this transition Besides a small core team to maintain and upkeep operations across the complex, most of our employees will be placed on extended leave-of-absence and will not have to return to work during the closure. However, they will continue to receive partial pay and full healthcare benefits. This is a show of our continued commitment to our team members and having considered the broader employment situation within the hospitality Industry in Myanmar currently,

We are proud to have been an active member of the community here in Yangon and sincerely thank our guests, colleagues, and wider International community for their support for the past 25 years. We look forward to reopening our doors in the last quarter of 2021.
